Return of Color?

• Two things happened last week that give me hope that there is going to be a real return to color. The first thing was the Oscars. Did you see the parade of colorful dresses? Not many black at all. The second thing was pictures of the European fall collections I saw on the sartorialist.com. The color combinations were inspiring and dramatic. This is what I have been talking about to my clients, friends and anyone who will listen about the power of color. It is far more interesting to play colors off one another than to wear all black. And for most of us it will bring out the best in our complexions and make our eyes sparkle. So, will this make it to the stores? I am here waiting and hoping….
